The Pioneer Experience 

Gallery 1 houses evidence of the Native presence that was in the Vermilion River area before the settlement of the town. Here, you can view such artifacts as Native hunting tools, clothing, and food preparation instruments.

Also in Gallery 1 is proof the pioneer's struggle to settle and establish roots in Vermilion. you can see the evolution of time changed Vermilion into an emerging town with potential prosperity.

By visiting our gallery, one can visually see the hardship and change the settlers overcame, and also the triumph of progress they developed despite the barriers.
