All field trips leave from the Vermilion Park CN Station. Bring a bag lunch for full-day trips

Bird Identification Workshop  Vermilion Provincial Park, CN Station. Clinician - Richard Klauke. Fees are $30 for the general public and $15. for club members or registered Atlassers. Maximum 25 people. Two day course May 8/9
Bird Atlassing Day 9 am – 5 pm June 6
Illustrated Field Walk - focusing on summer/winter ID characteristics, plant ecology and bird identification with Chris Olsen who teaches Natural Resources Technology in Environmental Sciences at Lakeland College, and brings a strong background in forest ecology, habitat and wildlife management. Vermilion Provincial Park CN Station. Cost $10.00 for general public and free for Vermilion River Naturalist Club members. Bring plant & bird ID books, binoculars, bag lunch, good walking shoes, rain gear. 9 am - 2 pm June 12
Boreal Ecology – Lac la Biche area Two day O/N camp June 19/20

Meeting Schedule

Meetings start at 7:30 pm in the upstairs meeting room of the Vermilion Park CN Station. Topic presentations and refreshments follow a regular business meeting.
